This was a shot taken for my macro class. Our first assignment for spring semester was to play with the equipment and learn how to use it. This was what I came up with for my first shot.

I love the variety of colors. The focus in interesting. It's one of those things that I can't decide whether I really love the focus choice or don't. You did a good job!
Well, I can make up my mind, and I LOVE your focusing. i think its a great idea to do things a little differently. i really like your decision to use this one, i think the focusing is what gives it its edge. and i like the vertical tilt, it works perfectly. the colors are just out of control, i love it!!
I like the angle and the small amount of focus. The colors really set it off and the lighting looks really good!
